Lovely view. Look down into the river and you might see the huge catfish there. Up to 2 meters long and sometimes they jump out to catch the pigeons to eat!

One of the best views in Albi. The whole city is beautiful, with that amazing old vibe and scenery. I fell in love with this small town and I will definitely visit it again if I will have the chance.

This 151m long medieval bridge crossing the Tarn river in the city of Albi was originally named Pont du Tarn. It was built between 1035 and 1042. However, the oldest parts you see today date back to the 13th century. It was very interesting to know that the bridge contributed to the urban and commercial development of the city. And the money that was collected (toll) was used for the maintenance of the bridge and also the city walls.
