I rented a race bike for 4 days. My experience: () Friendly staff (a few speak English) () High quality bikes! () Great service: they replaced a gear on my request without a problem (-) Very bad communication: no response on e-mail and contact form. Also opening hours on the site are not correct. Sunday closed! And not open from 8-12. (-) Bad administration. Bike i reserved was not available and couldnt find my reservation at all. Overall great place to rent, but they van really improve their communication.

I recently visited the region for a 3 day cycling trip and on this occasion I decide to hire a road bike instead of taking my own. Phillipe's shop is conveniently located for the best known climbs in the Pyrenees and carries an impressive range of of both mountain and road bikes to choose from. All of the bikes looked new or nearly new and in excellent condition. Bike set up was performed properly. Communication was good considering I am not particularly proficient in the French language. Phillipe and his mechanic were very friendly and helpful. I will no doubt return to the Pyrenees and have no hesitation in recommending L'Etape des Pyrenees to anyone who is planning to visit the area and choosing to hire. Clive Tucker. Cheshire England.

Excellent hire bike at a decent price. Attention to detail when setting it up was very reassuring. Bit of a language barrier but we got by with mangled french and a lot of pointing!

Great place and super choices of rental bikes. David and the crew are focused on their customers and the setup of bikes they make for yiu is perfect. They also have a bar side that makes your day for the after ride drinks. The measurement they make for the setup of the bike is very detailed and they give you the perfect ride. Thanks again to the while team !
