I came here early in Sunday morning, then I have a chance to enjoy the great place which was built since 1AD peacefully. We can bought the Arles ticket online and visit here before following Vincent’foot steps. Inside the amphitheater, you can have a vision of what happened long time ago....Gladiators died with great honor.

Reopened! Must see! 9-19 in the summer. Best get ticket Liberté, then use one of the half hour tours, if you speak some French. Cécile was a good guide. Just the right amount of info. Stay longer and read the signs if you like. Great views from top. Or see it from outside at night.

A bit expensive (full price 9, discount 7) but it is a splendid and almost 2000 years old monument. The tower part where we can climb it to the top has been restored but really fit with the rest. We can go all along inside on the different level of the arena. We can access the last level which is bright and splendid. You ll need around 45min if you are not a crazy pic taker and much more if you like keeping a souvenir at every corners.

This is an almost perfectly preserved roman amphitheatre in the centre of the old town of Arles which is still used for bullfights and concerts. Just round the corner from it you can visit the antique theatre and also the Roman baths of emperor Constantine and the modern museum of art reattu

A really cool place, would recommend to see as you can tell there is a lot of history here. Has a great view from the top and I would love to watch a show there sometime. I wish they kept more of the olden style of stands rather than the more modern look it has. Overall a great place to see if your in the area.

Like a small Coliseum. It was a lovely town and would love to see a concert there and definitely want to go back someday!

This was a surprise inclusive on our stop in Arles. We were just expecting lunch but we got a ancient amphitheatre as well. This was a great place to discover and lovely to see that it is being taken care off so that many others will be able to experience it. There is a great view of the arena and the town of Arles from the top. For those on the sensitive side or 6th sense it maybe a little uncomfortable as this did for many years have some very bloody events occur within the walls.
