In normal times, I would have given this place 4 stars: the food is basic but nice, the \apple wine\ is enjoyable, the price is a little high for what you get, but OK. The staff are friendly and helpful, but have absolutely no control over people moving from the tables to cider barrels with no masks on. Some people even came in with no masks at all and were shown their table as if the situation were totally normal. Not good for a place that has no tables outside. If I were the owner, I would suspend the \txox\ (cider fetching) sessions and serve people at the table, rather than have them all get up and walk through the room to the barrels. Also, I would ask people to simply abide by the law and wear masks on getting up from their tables. There's a good reason behind this.

This was truly one of the high points of our 2 week trip, traveling with 9 of us in the family, from Chicago and Madrid. The owner was delightful and so knowledgeable. All enjoyed trying the various ciders.. The young people particularly enjoyed the variety. And the food was fabulous! We'll remember this experience for a very long time, and are so grateful to the team.

A wonderful experience in how to pour and drink cider! A great meal as well. Very convivial and good value for money. Ignore the fact that you think you are on an industrial estate. It is there and well worth finding. Staff excellent.

They take time to come and serve you but the experience is well worth the wait! The applewine tasting is a hilarious experience and the food is really good for relatively little money. Be careful not to drink too much tho! Their unlimited drink formula is a killer!

What a fun experience! I have no other experience in Basque culture to compare it to, but our family thought it wonderful! A great time for the whole family. After living in Paris for 2 years, it is nice to see some open space and revelry. The closest comparison that comes to mind is a German beer hall. The food was excellent as well.

Great place! Tchotch! Great concept, great people and amazing food. We were warmly welcomed by a very nice man who explained us (in fluent English) the history and the Basque culture. The T bone steak is AMAZING! Everyone was nice and easy going making you feel you're home. It's a place to experience once in a lifetime.
