Ashiana is a very good Indian restaurant and is well located in my opinion. It’s not far from La Defense, and there are buses and M1 that run by. There are plenty of people but the waiter won’t let you wait for too long. The food was very amazing. It is not inexpensive, but you definitely get what you pay for..

An Indian friend of mine recommended this restaurant as “one of the very few authentic Indian restaurants in Paris”, so the same day I went there: it was definitely worth going! The place is spacious and classy. But the atmosphere quite intimate, with good quality of glasses, cutlery... and when the food came, it was really nothing like what you usually eat in “popular” Indian restaurants in Paris or London. The papadum was so thin and crispy, the lassi with perfect sugar level and smoothness... and the dishes are a real pleasure to your palate!

Ashiana is quickly becoming a local favorite of mine. I enjoyed dinner so much that I went back 2 days later for lunch. For dinner, I tried the chicken korma and the butter chicken with saffron rice. For lunch, I had the chicken biryani lunch special, which included raita, vegetable mix and a side of fruit. The lunch portion size was generous. Naan bread was done well also. I finished lunch off with a delicious mango lassi. The butter chicken was my favorite, although I loved each dish. Wait staff is really friendly. I definitely will visit again and take visitors here.

Good authentic indian food and economical compared to similar Indian restaurants in Paris. This one is one of the top ones.

Good selection, reasonably priced, and attentive but not intrusive staff. Food was good, 3rd visit and no complaints so far.
