Corsica brands itself as an isle of natural beauty between the mountains and the sea. Bastia is a shining example of this. If you need a few days to unwind from the business of working life, this is a place you should seriously consider.

Beautiful and picturesque. With bars and restaurants to enjoy the view and delightful tastes of the Corsican cuisine. Also great for picture taking as the surrounding old buildings and park are fantastic. Important too: if in need of a taxi back to your hotel make sure to find one before midnight!! Otherwise you will have to walk...

Medium/small size ferry/boat port. The people usually don’t speak english but some of them do. The toilet can be quite crowded if there are ferries around.

Nice little port with very good restaurants and historic buildings. This is definitely one of the nicest places in Bastia. You should not miss this if you are in Bastia. Recommended!

Nice place. Old port is good place for evening walking, a lot of restaurants, cafe, bar. Big choice for the finishing full of activity day.

Beautiful small old port with beautiful old houses around and wonderful citadel above it. There are a lot of cosy places near to seat and enjoy coffee or whole meal. There are also free parking places here.

Staff working here are unprofessional. We called at 12.05 PM to tell them that we were arriving with a sailboat, and they answered that in 5 minutes a boat will come to help us dock. They did not come. It seems that they don't work from 12 to 2 PM: why did they lie to us then saying they were coming? We had to dock all by ourselves. The shore power was not working, they made us pay 60 euros per day plus 3 euros per person per day, which they did not tell us when we called to book a place. The wifi was not working well, it disconnected continually. We had to pay 2 euros to use the showers and they were DISGUSTINGLY dirty, the toilet was closed for the night and they did not give us the code to enter it...to sum it up: a scam for tourists. Go to Port Toga instead. Only pro: the place is so beautiful.
