Great little museum, fantastic collections of marine paintings from the School of Berck painters on the first level, and an amazing archaeological 2nd level with artefacts from the Paleolithic to the Middle ages. Among them the most beautiful Merovingian era damascus work i have seen so far. All of this beautifully displayed with taste, and humour as contemporary sculptures from Artist Sophie Verger were mixed with the ancient artefacts, bringing a welcome touch of surprise and humour to the whole place. Also museum people were very kind and obviously passionate by their job.

A small museum with a delightful collection of paintings focusing on the lives of the fisher men and women of Berck in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Also an interesting archaeological section.

Moment très intéressant de calme et de contemplation avec la visite du musée de la côte d'Opale à Berck, qui semble méconnu. L'exposition a la fois de tableaux en lien avec la mer et de découvertes archéologiques rend la visite attractive et le tout pour la modique somme de 3.50, et gratuit pour les enfants. Hélas le musée est petit et la visite courte
Beau musée avec les toiles des peintres locaux. Une belle façon de réviser les paysages marins. A découvrir.
