Beautiful bridge with interesting history. Love the reflection of the bridge with the Loire. The river is calm at one side and different from the other side. Really glad that I visited this city:-)

A marvelous example of the engineering of the time,beautiful feature to the local area with secret passages and rough sleeping places built into the riverbank here,come explore,and if brave enough,sleep in the abandoned tunnels!
Nice bridge with a market real close. Great views over the river. One of the drainage points smells like sewer, but all in all not bad in early September. My girlfriend and I tested on the wall of the bridge (tall enough to sit on) after walking around for most of the morning just to people watch for a little while and figure out what we would do next.
It was fascinating watching all of the wildlife in the water, the air and on the riverbank. Hard to believe that you're in a fairly large city.

Beautiful bridge. Better looking from opposite bank to the old town because of the churches and directions of sunlight. You could park the car at the observation area which had plenty of parking space in September. It may be a problem on tour high season
Lovely place plenty of shops and restaurants.
