Great experience! Staff were super helpful and tolerated my terrible french. Great set-up including sauna and weights. Restaurant was packed when I arrived but the wall was fairly quiet mid week. Thanks to everyone there for a great day!

Amazing boulder gym. The staff are kind and the atmosphere is great! Free chalk, sauna and a nice restaurant!

We went here for a climbing session while on holiday in Saint Emilion (35 min drive). The staff was very welcoming and we could speak good English with them. The gym itself has a lot of variety in types of boulders and level of boulders. Besides the bouldering there is a training area with enough machines/weights and there is a restaurant. We had lunch there and really enjoyed our food. Once again, the service was great. Would come here again.

Nice and welcoming staff, cool bar with a yummy choice of salads ready to go, and (naturally) a very cool and awesome bouldering gym with changing rooms, musculation/yoga room, osteopathic care and children walls/activities and a sauna! A few suggestions: add the color codes for route difficulty in 1 or 2 spots WITHIN the gym so that they're easily visible, and I have also heard of climbers complaining about some of the shirtless guys, so maybe ask for full attire only in the climbing area?

Contrary to the gym, Block’out is actually a great place to have fun and get into shape. The climbing facilities are good, they’re categorized by grades of difficulty and so are equally accessible to beginners. There’s also a restaurant, a terrace, a mini gym with some equipment and there’s even a physical therapist available.

Probably the best climbing hall in Bordeaux for bouldering (climbing up to a max height of 4m, with huge mattresses to cushion your fall, and no personal safety gear). It's fun, has lots of routes for each level of experience, and the staff is super friendly. Day tickets include free access to a gym, as well as to the sauna and hammam. Absolute recommendation for a nice sporty afternoon/evening.

Best gym I've seen in Europe. I've been to gums in Denmark, Germany, England, Spain (Sharma's gym), Italy and Croatia. This is the best I've seen so far. Outstanding setting, great walls, friendly staff and patrons and the facilities were beyond better. I wish we had one in Australia.
