Very interesting museum, complete with a good staff and please see shark’s art at the entrance

Small maritime museum with good brief history of sea exploration. Very nice models of ships. The highlight of the museum is the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition of his structural designs and ideas many of which were futuristic in his time. And his fascinating drawings of the human anatomy. A must see for Leonardo fans.

Eclectic collection. Enjoyable on several levels. Perfectly suits a visit with children.

The expo is quite interesting and rather big, mostly consists of ships models. But the 20 entry.. And it’s rather far by waking. Ok, it’s not far from La Cite du vin, but you won’t be able to make it to both in one day - too exhausting

Less a museum, more a show room for boat / ship models. Few explanations on naval technology or architecture using the models to illustrate. Disappointing. Expensive for what it is.

Only two months old! A great new place. Cool to look around. Interesting facts many repeated in English. Lots of exhibits covering all ages of boats from the very 1st hollowed out tree trunk to modern - models of frigates. A small area also dedicated to brave souls fleeing persecution from abroad - the boat people. Personal accounts of why they risked their lives and how appreciative they were that France took them in! Very sobering in these difficult times. A must see!

We visited to see the exhibition of drawings by Leonardo da Vinci. High quality models have been made using the drawings and they are fascinating. Good value for money. We will be going back to visit the maritime museum as we didn't have time to do both.
