We enjoyed our one night-stay at this camper parking. It is very close to the beautiful town of Brantôme and in a quiet location. You pay at the entrance of the parking in order to enter (24h 6,60 , 5h 1 ). Water costs additionally and you can pay by credit card. The water tap is bigger than the usual so you need a bigger adapter. There is also a place for the cassette disposal. The only negative thing is that there is almost no electricity, only two plugs available which are for most parking spaces too far away. The facilities could be improved.

Birds and Other Wildlife

This commercial aire is barrier controlled and costs 8 per night by way of bank card. It is located alongside the river and is within easy walking distance of Brantome town. It is frequently busy and there are only a very few electric points which are close to the service centre and therefore unavailable for most plots. The are no toilets on site but public toilets a short distance away which are cleaned daily. Despite these limitations the peaceful location and the beauty of Brantome have made this one of our favourite places over the last few years.

Great little aire just 5 mins walk from the centre of brantome. I think it was 7 for 24 hours or 1 for 5 hours. Lovely little town surrounded by a river , highly recommend a visit

Brilliant Aire. Near the river and short walk into the beautiful town of Brantome. Services include water point ( you pay a small fee for water using bank card) Secure barrier for entrance & exit. One of the best Aires we have stayed on with cafes & restaurants near by. Enjoy

Brantome is an amazing town set in some fabulous countryside. The aire offers facilities for the campervan user and is perfectly placed. Sure it's popular and gets busy. But I can not understand why anyone would complain about what's on offer here. Try coming to the UK finding a car park that will allow you to park your van in any town. Let alone allowing SLEEPING in the van. As for toilet emptying facilities and water taps well you have got to be having a laugh. Please as we say in the UK count your blessings. Claire Barron.
