Spent a good time at Oceanopolis. First of all, because of the place... there are so many things to see, and secondly because I met some wonderful people working over there. I wanna thanks Lionel for the explanation about the plankton, it was a total discovery for me, and you made it easy to understand. Also thank you Kelly for the explanations on the aquarium, so instructive! And Laurane for your warm welcome. If you have the chance to meet those people, you're lucky!

3 areas to discover, Brittany, cold and tropical. Book a slot for at least 3 hours to enjoy discovery of all 3 parts. Small snacks , coffee are available and I think restaurant also (although did not try that one )

Very beautiful Aquarium with lots of species, really worth a visit or even more than one. The parking is free of charge but the entrance fee is about 19 which is not cheap but it is worth it. They also have a program for saving otters which you can see also in the tour. Their Covid-19 measures are also good with buying tickets online to avoid crowds at the lines and you get desinfectant spray at nearly every entrance so you can visit the aquarium safely during these special times.

Really interesting. More than an aquarium. You have to book online. There were 3 areas ... Tropical, Polar, Brittany .. very good plus we learned about shellfish farming. There was also a presentation about plankton which was good. Definitely worth the entry fee. The tropical and polar areas had little information in any language except French .. they could do with improving that. Plan several hours if you want to have time to appreciate everything without rushing.

Just about worth the money as this isn't a cheap day out for a family. Place is split into 3 main areas with Tropical, Arctic and Brittany areas. Each area has some really amazing aquariums or exhibits that stand out but the Tropical and Arctic areas are dominated by these larger exhibits so if you don't spend long looking at them or they are too busy then you may find you get through these areas quickly. Outside seating and play areas are good. Cafe doesn't have a vegetarian option with is disappointing however there is a sandwich shop that sells vegetarian sandwiches.

It’s a nice visit for a rainy day. Also a nice souvenir shop. Get your tickets online with a discount.

Great park, but some aquariums are very sad and uninspired designed. Some animals show very disturbed behavior like the seal, swimming the same path over and over. If the weather is bad, you can easily spend half a day here.

First, find it. Coming by bus or car drops you a minimum of 250m from the entrance on the far side of the complex with little signage to get you there. Inside, the contrast is extreme: some of the best exhibits of ocean wildlife I have ever seen worldwide coupled with some of the worst customer facilities that had about as much appeal as a North American shopping mall. The four feeding stations (I cannot call them restaurants) sold mostly packaged rubbish in single use containers. Not a good look for a place that should be at the forefront of preserving our seas. All the pricing, as was the entry cost, high. The exhibits are worth the pain but they shouldn't be that hard to enjoy.
