I was looking for a golf course to play while my wife worked for three months in Nantes France. I found a course in Carquefou that I fell in love with. First the course was a challenging as any I played in the USA. It was well maintained, in fact the maintenance crew was always busy doing something around the course. The greens were well maintained and relatively fast, fairways were always cut and the roughs were very rough and well defined. The water features were as well placed to make drives and approach shots challenging. Most important to me was how the staff and members treated me. I could not have asked for a more friendly group of people to associate with. It was as if I was playing with family. The course Director Olivier MARTEDDU was as friendly as they come. IF you are in the area stop by and say hello from this grateful American.
