Great place to walk, even without equipment everything went well. Parking 7, the road to go is clear.

A beautiful bridge facing a wonderful waterfall, easy to enjoy on the restaurant facing it. From the entrance, get a cable car, and then it's 10 minutes of scenic walk to the bridge, then another 15 minutes to the chairlift station to go the the Lake Gaube , which is an amazing destination on its own. Pont d'Espagne is quite kids-friendly, the walk is pretty easy on a designated path.

This place is about 20 mins from the city of cautrets and gives you a feeling of escape from the city life. They have on spot free paking for which you need to pay 7 Euros for a day. For the entrance the actual point where you can see waterfall is a 5 mins walk. The cafe next to the fall is usually over crowded and fooed served is just average, however the view from there is mesmerizing. From pont d'Espagne the hike to the lake gaube is around 1hour 15.

This is a beautiful place and is highly recommended. We only went as far as the bridge and waterfall which are stunning. No doubt the lake is equally magnificent. We had lunch in the restaurant at the bridge which was delicious with excellent service thrown in.
