Lovely quiet site next to the Cher; excellent facilities and friendly Guardienne and safe swimming in the river.

A charming, green campsite next to the river Cher with a very welcoming host.

Excellent large quiet campsite on the river Cher. Great kids park next door. The toilets and showers were unbelievably clean. The lady on the campsite was very friendly and helpful. The Cher looks great for taking your kayak out on the water which unfortunately we didn't have time to do this visit as we only stayed one night. There is also a kayaking place next to the campsite open July and August for you to hire a kayak for the day. Lots of cycling and walking routes close by too. There is no ordering of bread on site but this is not a problem as there is a small bakery five minutes walk from the campsite. Would we return - yes without a doubt

Quiet, clean & cheap. Good stopover next to a lake. Saw otters. Watch out for the mosquitoes.

A fantastic site. 3 people, electricity, 14.50. Bargain. Toilets etc dated, but some of the cleanest we have seen on a campsite for a long time. Saturday night is the barbeque, bring your own food, cook and eat together. Lovely idea. Having toured European campsites for 3 to 4 weeks a year for the last 10 or so years I would highly recommend. Campsite between canal and the river, lovely. Canoe hire available locally (2 mins).

One of the most beautiful campings we have been on (and the cheapest). The grass is super green, there are nice big trees and you have all the space you need. The facilities are okay, though in France the toilet seat always seems to be missing. It’s a rather old building and the toilets can be small but everything functions properly. If you want you can take a swim in the River two minutes walking. You cant go swimming from the campsite because of a club nautico. It’s not crowded, the people and the owner are kind. No bread service in the morning but that’s fine because there’s a bakery 5m walking into town. Would definitely recommend!
