Except peak times, can be a quick, easy and comfortable way across the channel. Booking not as flexible and economical as ferry. If you arrive outside of your booking window can expect an extra charge around 200! You stay in your car on the train, only basic toilet for facilities on train: negative is cannot take a real break like on ferry; positive is can avoid contact with other people.
Very good way to cross into UK. Border checks were concise, shirt and to the point, and driving around the facilities was a pleasure. I would advise to pay attention to roadsigns and crossing times when travelling here, it's important not to miss boarding lanes and boarding times. Overall - great experience, I highly recommend.
6 hour delay, badly organised mess of a place. Could have gone to the hook of Holland quicker. Absolute urine take.

Loved using the tunnel, it feels just like being on the train. The journey was so quick you won't even have time to get a nap.
Nice and smooth check in and crossing. Superior to the ferry crossing and much quicker. Plus no quarantine needed which is a bonus
What a technological masterpiece! So much nicer than a ride on a boat. Price of tickets were good, crossing is swift and smooth, I just love it! I first went on it in 2012 and if I am going to Europe by a vehicle it's my first choice of travel.
