I feel the hotel was slightly overpriced for what you are offered. We stayed at one of the apartments in the nearby street. The building is beautiful from the outside, with an authentic half-timbered façade. However, the inside hall and stairway you need to get through to get to your room was extremely narrow and steep, making it difficult to get the luggage to your room (they didn’t offer us help or warned us at check-in). The room was big and spacious, but the bathroom was too small by comparison. The hotel has a superb location, right in the center of Dijon, close to most major touristic attractions, bars, shops and restaurants. We were very disappointed with the breakfast, for which we paid an extra fee. The breakfast choice was very limited and is served in an uninviting location, not up to standards for a three star hotel according to us.

We stayed in the small annex, the room was nicely decorated, clean and very well located. However, the windows most probably don’t have double glazing since we were walked up by sounds and people talking outside during both our nights. Other guests kept slamming room and building doors, which could be heard from ground floor to upper floors. The room was not cleaned up between our 2 nights due to the COVID, which is ok, but it was not mentioned to us when checking in. Bathroom and coffee supplies were therefore not filled up and basically short for 2 nights. The staff at the front desk could also be a bit more attentive (we could have shared our concerns with them when checking out but they didn’t even ask if we had a good stay). A bit of a disappointment.
Hôtel des Ducs is well positioned (in the heart of historic Dijon); comfortable and clean (efforts made to ensure guests feel safe with respect to Covid-19); and staff helpful and responsive before and during our short stay (including a good restaurant recommendation: La Maison Millière).
Very pleasant hotel, perfect location in the old town, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. The hotel is nicely decorated and I had a balcony with a lovely view. Will definitely return if I have the opportunity to re-visit Dijon.
Great big room, good amenities, nice bathroom. We slept well and enjoyed our room. Incredible location in the old city center. Very helpful staff, parked on site. Excellent value for the price. We loved it and want to come back soon.
Beautiful room in a great old city location. The room was completely remodeled and was fresh and clean. We loved the exposed beams and views from the windows. Perfect blend of old meets new. After visiting 3 countries, and 6 hotels, this was by far our favorite!
Good location. Room very nice - has booked a car spot in the hotel garage and had re-confirmed it but when I arrived they said it was full. Eventually a spot magically appeared in the garage. The suite room was lovely although to access it you had to leave the hotel and enter from a door on the street. A big odd - as a result it felt like staying in a serviced apt than a hotel but the staff were v nice.
