Service was satisfactory, nothing outstanding. Standard menu and selection. A great play area for the kids inside allow the rest of the group the chance to stay and chat. Location was perfect. Parking was a big challenge.

The service is very good and quick from the português guy. We ordered Crush Menu which was a pretty nice option.
Delicious food. Good prices. Excellent service. Resembles a North American steak house, which it is. So you won't find authentic French atmosphere or cuisine. Fixed menu with choices of starters and entrees just19.90

Hippotamus Annecy: worse experience ever in all affiliates of the group. Bad service and impolite servers. We asked different side dishes (legumes, rice and potatoes) for a balanced meal to be shared by our family members. At our surprise, all dishes came with 1 side dish and, when asking for the complementary dishes, the manager said he would not serve before we finish the dishes. We understand the logic of trying to avoid waste, but this was definitely not the case in our order (generally the same in all hippo affiliates) and, worse than that, the way the responsible communicated with us was unacceptable. Easy way to destroy reputation of a nice brand!
Nice place to have a relaxed meal. The service was excellent. The waiter explained the different meal options. Great!
