We are visiting Basel, staying in Saint Louis, and enjoyed finding this friendly, tasty and pleasant restaurant on a Sunday night. The daily selections are fresh. The tartes flambees (a tasty alternative to pizzas) are good size and many in variety. The owner is very friendly and accommodated our English, and provided us with English menus. Outdoor seating is lovely. Parking was easy on a Sunday evening. Many locals bike to this popular restaurant. I wasn't able to get an online reservations, but we didn't need one when we came around 630. The prices are good. We didn't have enough space for dessert, which looked great. We did then enjoy walking through the square, across the walking bridge and into Germany.

Food is average but atmosphere is good
This is a typical French restaurant. The French lady that is working here is really nice and friendly. After you order you have to wait for more than 1 hour, but the food is really good. I recommend to take time when you are going to eat here.
Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Tasty Flammekuchen. They take international credit card.

Arrivé à 15h jeudi, nous avons été bien accueillis pour un café au calme sur la terrasse couverte. Ayant du temps, nous avons pu voir affiché un grand nombre de bonnes choses dont les tartes flambées. Le restaurant est bien situé avec une vue dégagée sur la place bien arborisée. Si nous revenons à Huningue nous nous laisserons tenter par les bonnes choses proposées.
Nous avons très bien manger en terrasses quoi de plus agréable. Mais alors le serveur ..... je tire la tronche, je parle désagréablement aux clients... et tout ça SANS MASQUE ! Alors que la patronne l'avais elle !! Serveur déjà croisé au grill show, et je recommente exactement la meme choses ici ! Au bout d'un moment tes blasé de ton boulot change le !!
