Great place to go for calm water for kids. There is a mini golf nearby. And some fast food nearby with fries. Parking space is okay to find. There are rental houses too around. The trees go out to the water giving shadow in the heat but ground is not always flat. Recommended to take kids there as there is aqua park nearby too.

Beautiful lake. Clear water into which one can walk very far knee-deep and a wonderful sandy beach which is partly directly protected from the sun by a pine forest. You can build sand castles all afternoon without getting sunburned. This makes it an ideal place for kids!
