A great spot, just a little off the beaten path. So happy we found this place. Lovely service and really good food. They are exceptionally child- and dog-friendly. A great value especially in a town like Chamonix, where it’s easy to pay inflated tourist prices. Nice cocktails, veggie options, a kids menu and fantastic desserts. What’s not to love?

WHAT an absolute gem of a place. We had the pleasure of dining here a few times during our trip to Chamonix and we really can't wait to come back. There is a really nice atmosphere and charm about the place and feels equally welcoming whether you are wanting to drop in for an afternoon coffee after enjoying the nearby woodland walks or sporting facilities, a few drinks and food on an evening with friends or family, or a romantic meal for two. The food really is very fine and the portions are generous too. We thought the food offered excellent value for money and are just disappointed we weren't staying in town longer so we could get through the full menu! It was a pleasure chatting to the owner and the lovely hostess and we even got to say 'hi' to the chef one night when we called in for a night cap! Genuinely could not fault the excellent and friendly service. There are plenty of restaurants in the nearby town centre (many overpriced and offering average food!) but this really is worth a five or so minute stroll from there to have some excellent food in a wonderful picturesque setting. Looking forward to coming back here again.
A must-do in Chamonix. A really unique experience, dining in the forest! This is one of my favourite restaurants and we have been coming here for years. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. A short walk through the forest (or you can access it by car) and you reach this hidden gem, it is in a very special location with an authentic & rustic feel. I bring all of our visiting family/friends here - everything from a hot chocolate break when out walking, to lunch or an evening meal .. all while sat soaking up the atmosphere in the midst of nature. Outdoor and indoor seating available. Very family friendly with a large garden and play area (including tree house!) for children. Due to it’s location it is an ideal venue all year round and a great (spacious & peaceful!) retreat from the busy town, yet still easily accessible. Highly recommended.
Amazing atmosphere. Great service, 12 plat du jour with a monster entrecôte steak!! Must go back there again!

We had a great experience here for a sunday brunch (luscious food with local specialities combined with the classics such as Eggs Benedict). We were extremely well looked after by the friendly staff and brand new proprietor who has grand plans for this little gem hidden away in the woods just a short stroll from the city center. Perfect hide out ️
Catherine has been a wanderful host and the location was magic. Wonderful food and service. She has paid attention to the needs of all of us especially for the gluten free requests. The bill was in line to those of the zone.
