Chose this place to eat based on other reviews. All the other reviews were spot on. My selections we're the specials, an endive shrimp salad and the grilled veal. Both were perfectly executed. When I arrived at seven they had already seated half the tables, which was about twenty. Thirty minutes later they were full. I would call an ask for a reservation as not to be disappointed. This was an easy off from metro line number 8. Service was quick even with a full house. Definitely worth going if you are close by.

Great local restaurant, always packed. The beef burgundy is their signature, but that’s not the only thing. But be awared, the portion is quite large.

A true Basque restaurant. Most everything is served in a cast iron pot. Try the beef... it is tender and tasty. And the pork dishes will meet your expectations. Most of the meat dishes have bacon in them. And wine reduction makes the food all the more delicious. This place is frequented by locals. Of course, Persians eat late. So getting there before eight is a safe bet for getting seated. Portions are large and prices are moderate. Staff are friendly.

Loved the goat cheese salad and the creme brulee. The beef seems to be popular, but I didn't care for it.

You probably can't go wrong ordering anything here but go with the friendly staff's recommendations if you can't decide! Get a reservation or come when it opens as it gets busy. Photos are of the Beef Bourgignon, Paella (seafood, chicken, & sausage), and foie gras.
