Wonderful, beautiful, colorful. I always try to find the markets, covered markets in French towns. The good news is that they are normally not too expensive.

I drive an hour to come to this excellent covered market. Huge selections of meat, cheese, veggies and wine. Other stalls with coffee and pastries on site.

Small covered market. Nice place to stop for a reasonable meal while visiting Metz.

Upper class market, as well as price as quality. Fruits, all kind of meats and a large choice of fresh fishes can be found there

Beautiful building which sets up on a square running u-shaped on the western façade of Metz Cathedral. Only one side of the market was opened when I visited. The delicious and appetizing aroma wafting from inside makes one wants to visit. Very colourful and flamboyant stall holders who were more than pleased to welcome everyone. Small selection of fruits and vegetables but the amount of cheese and varieties were something to explore. Fresh seafood and different varieties of bakery delights are abound. A wonderful atmosphere that makes me want to spend all day inside. Welcoming for everyone.

Nice Market with a lot of variaty of products. You can also eat traditional dishes with cheaper prices than in the restaurants around. Because the whole place is a market with fish, meat and cheese, is logical to understand why is a bit cold inside. Nice experience

Because it is the place to buy fresh veggies and meat/fish in Metz on a daily basis. It is farmers' market that is open every day except Mondays. Super good quality stuff and has been around forever.

Monumental Metz Cathedral. One of the nicest places see in the region.
