Purpose of the association to safeguard the historical and cultural heritage of Vannes-Meucon aerodrome located in the municipality of Monterblanc; ensure static preservation and conservation of North 2501 (property of the city of Vannes), of aircraft, aerodynes, gliders or any aeronautical accessory of historical interest, the maintenance in flight condition of MS733 N 45 made available by its owner and certain other collection devices made available occasionally; static preservation of aircraft and of construction, maintenance and piloting techniques; the presentation of models in the form of dioramas and artistic creations; the collection and enhancement of documents, testimonies and works concerning machines and the history of aviation, the contribution to historical research on the aerodrome and its surroundings; cooperation with various museums such as the Regional Air Museum of Angers - Marcé and the Air and Space Museum; maintaining relations and exchanges with other organizations or organizations for the conservation of aeronautical heritage such as 3AF (aeronautical astronomical association of France); contribution to tourism development in the Gulf of Morbihan; the contribution to the education of young people from 7 to 77 years old through discovery workshops and air activities.

Superbe musée ! On y découvre et apprend plein de chose intéressante. La visite de l'avion militaire qui trône entre les deux hangars est un vrai atout dans cette visite passionnante.
