This museum is located on the hill just tiny bit away from downtown and exhibits paintings, sculptures from artist who lived and worked on the French Riviera. It is kind of small museum but still interesting. I was there with my family early just before opening time(google map only shows opening hours during summertime)but it was closed because they have different opening hours during wintertime. Check my photo if you plan to visit during wintertime.

A fine display of finer art from French masters; all housed in bourgeoisie opulence. As I walked along creaky floorboards and gazed surprisingly at tattered dishevelled wall paintings I saw vivid beauty. The hung collections range from the masterful to the colourful to the illustrative.

Not busy at all and a good place to while away a relaxing hour

Quite and peaceful atmosphere and great work, particularly Rodin and Dufy.

The building itself is quite tired on the inside probably difficult to decorate due to frescos on the walls but lots of peeling paint. Some great artefacts particularly sculptures. The lady in a veil is absolutely stunning. As is the combined stone and bronze piece.

Not a hit with me. Sparse exhibition. A few clumps of exhibits, example, portraits, that cover 400 years or so per grouping. Unfortunately for me, all in French, which I read very slowly. Staff were poly- lingual, as one often finds in western Europe.

Located in a quiet place. Some of the art works attracted my attention spontaneously. "The Fisherman"
