Wonderful forest for hiking just outside of Paris. You can download hiking maps from the website of the Parc Naturel, just Google it... The routes are easy as not a lot of elevation going on. And of course Chantilly is nearby, which is also an amazing place to visit.

Amazing! Beautiful gardens and a lovely palace! I do recommend lunch inside the Chantilly chateau! Beautiful! It's a lovely and romantic place!

Chateau De Chantilly is worth a visit. Huge gardens with relatively garden and plant design. Horse jump show is mid level.
