For a foreigner in France it is always more difficult to find appropriate service due to language and culture barriers. I have selected Aracelli Cerda Avocats based on them demonstrating real cases that they handled in relation to the real estate and co-ownership laws in France (on their website). This law firm has provided in-depth analysis, from a number of angles and taking into consideration applicable jurisprudence. What made them stand apart from other law firms that I have initially consulted is that they never pushed for litigation and were providing a written analysis of situation with recommendations. The other law firms that I have contacted were pushing for litigation almost from the beginning and were more interested in providing direct consultation where they charge per hour. All my communications with Cerda Avocats were in French, thus I can't comment on whether they could provide service in English. From a client perspective when you have an urgent matter there is a tendency to expect an answer immediately, but it is also necessary to understand that a law firm has a number of clients and court attendances. The responses to my communications by Cerda Avocats were within correct time delay and their receptionist is very polite.
