I have over 10 years experience with all things motorised on two wheels. I love motorcycles and the freedom they give to explore new places. Cooltra Paris is slightly obscured so could easily be missed if you aren't paying attention. It appeared closed when I first arrived but an email here and a phone call there and the staff came and greeted me. This place is great. Plenty of vehicle to choose from. All the vehicles they lease are are in good working order and clean too which is important aesthetically and mechanically. They did not have the vehicle I hired online however they gave me a replacement pretty much like for like. They currently have an astronomical deposit which you the customer must pay. it shocked me as it didn't state when purchasing online you would have to pay such a large amount of money prior to taking the vehicle however I don't attribute that to the customer service of the staff here. Even with my almost non-existent conversational French language skills they helped me with suggestions on where to go and how to get there. The staff were very very accommodating and friendly. I hired a 400cc Peugeot 3 wheel scooter. The vehicle was fully looked over with staff. the brakes had plenty of bite, equal to the acceleration which was fantastique as one would say in Paris. My wife who accompanied me as my pillion passenger was comfortable. It was no armchair but it wasn't bad by any stretch. The handling was also pretty good and you feel pretty planted on the road. Take care over the cobbled streets of Paris. You will lose a fair amount of grip so those with little or no experience may be caught unaware. Thank you cooltra Paris and look forward to returning and experiencing Paris like no other tourist can!
Very friendly and communicative fuss-free scooter rental with decent security deposits - the scooters were in very good condition too - Ricarda at the office provided a great service - will definitely use again
Great rental service , but the staff made it the best. Andre (Andrew) was speaking fluent Spanish with a couple that was ahead of us in line, then switched to fluent English when we got to the counter. He sorted us out with our rental super quickly, gave us a bunch of advice about navigating Paris, and sent us on our way like a Pro!
The gentleman we dealt with was amazingly helpfully. He showed us how everything works. Was super polite the price was very cheap. The scooter was brand new. Had unlimited amount of km you can use. I had the time of my life. If you want to rent a scooter in Paris look no further! I would recommend this place to anyone. It was so easy to deal with this place. I give 10 out of 5 stars but I can only give 5. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience.
We have rented a scooter here for 2 days. What can I say, the service was unbelievable. Friendly and always with a smile. For every problem, they will definitely find a solution. We received a brand new scooter with 0 km's, they are very safe and comfortable. Everything went quick and easy. All my credits to the Romanian lady that helped us. She is the reason for people coming back. This wasn't my last time with Cooltra!
I have rented from other Cooltra locations around Europe and this chain is dedicated to your satisfaction at an amazing level. Went to the fairly new Paris location on my latest trip, and was even more blown away by the level of service and personal approach taken. I rent similar equipment in Alaska and I know what a good operator is. Cooltra Paris is the only place I will rent from if they exist where I travel. The only way to see many European cities is on a scooter.... traffic and parking are a breeze for an experienced rider. Take the GPS option in every rental as you wont find your way home without it and it will let you focus on driving. Thanks again Cooltra people; you ROCK!
Unforgettable experience! After many rentals with Cooltra in Spain I decided to try it in Paris - it was my first time when it comes to driving a scooter in Paris; at the beginning I was a little worried to drive a scooter in such a big and busy city, but the staff was so friendly and helpful that after having received a lot of useful tips I felt really comfortable and secure. Once you sit on a scooter and drive for a while, you discover the beauty of city, which you wouldn't see under the ground while using a public transport. We were able to see all of the most important monuments and obviously we discovered a lot of new, non-touristic places - everything in a just one day! Totally recommended!
