This is our 4th time using tripadvisor apartment services and our best experience of the 4. Stépanie, the property manager and owner of Feels Like Home in Paris, was helpful, efficient, and lovely. She even printed our French Open tickets for us, which we did not receive via email until a week before the event. The apartment is terrific with quiet neighbors but a lot of wonderful street noises when the windows are open (close them and there is quiet). There is a terrific book collection, DVDs, cable TV with 26 channels, Bose bluetooth, free wifi, and a free iPhone to use during your visit. The bedroom is air conditioned and the bathroom has a separate washer and dryer. The bed is a bit lumpy but it is a king which we love. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked so we cooked.
The apartment is perfectly located and not as busy/crazy as the lower arrondisements. The metro is a few blocks away, the 80 bus stops out front (both ways) and the 95 bus is down the street several blocks. If you are here for seven or more days, purchase the Navigo decouverte pass. Unlimited use on the buses, metro, RER trains, tram, and the Funiculaire de Montmartre. Good for all zones including both airports, Le Disney, and Versailles.
This apartment is at 57 rue Caulaincourt. Nearby there is a cheese shop (47), a boulangerie (63), the incredible Arnaud Larher chocolate/pastry/macarons shop (53), a pharmacie (43), franprix (44), restaurant Le Cepage (65), Italian pasta/pizza restaurant Mastino (46), and the Supermarche G20 (just a left out the front door and then the first right). There is also a produce/fruit store directly across the street as well as another down the street. There is a large Monoprix near the Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Cœur and Musée de Montmartre - Renoir Gardens are close by.
We will return to this apartment. We will always deal with Stéphanie when we return to Paris.
