Cute and friendly place, went there for a round of golf. Small and short course, but fun enough, well cared. Nice welcome and 19th hole.

A bit boggy on fairways early in year, but promise of better weather will improve play

Golf course... more of a pitch and putt than a 9 hole course. Short holes with poorly maintained tee boxes, but the rest of the course was ok. Slow greens so make sure you give it more than you normally would. Tee'd off early on an empty course, by the time I was on the 5th a 3 ball had appeared on the 6th. Managed to play through them to find another group on the 9th. Decided to give up on playing 18 and called it a day at this point, as the course seemed to be a free for all. Club hire at 7 would normally be reasonable, but the clubs were covered in mud, all from different sets and very flexible shafts, so pretty hopeless. If you're used to a decent set of sticks and some form of order on the course, then I'd avoid. But if you're a higher handicap player looking to hack around a course, then this place will be perfect. Bring ballls and tees to save yourself a few quid and I wouldn't worry about attire because most of the guys were in t-shirts.
