I have actually lived in Poitiers for years and I have eaten at all of the restaurants. This restaurant is fantastic: very clean, friendly, professional, and the food is always excellent. The plates are hot and the food is perfectly cooked and seasonned. The price is also excellent. You will be amazed by the quality of the food for the price.

Nice, modern looking bistro.Lighting and decoration arty and artful. I was received by an efficient and friendly waiter, and service was brisk. I had an entree of Gaspacho d'artichauds which was really good, if a bit on the cold side. The glass of Chinon I had was OK, but not memorable. I was served my glass of Pessac Leognan to accompany my main dish while I was still finishing my first course - brisk service indeed. The Pessac Leognan was really good - at 7 euros a glass it should be - and I really enjoyed it with my Risotto de Saint Jacques. This was a very good dish. If I wanted to say anything negative about it, is that it was slightly too much (and I am a \good eater\). So I didn't have any dessert. The waiter didn't know what Grappa is (to be fair, it wasn't on their digestives list, which is modest by any standards anyway). So I had a nice rum with my coffee. This is a place I will return to. A little tip for the non-French readers: Not speaking French very well, I asked for some water - which means you are served a bottle of Evian at 3 euros rather than the complimentary water I would've gotten anyway. Ask for \a carafe d'eau\ to save you that silly expense.
