Slightly off the beaten track, these caves are great for a family outing. With a great guide in French & English, visitors are taken down the grotto through easy-to-walk steps until a depth of 40m is reached. Temperature is a constant 15C so some might want to bring a light sweater. For sure worth a visit if you're in this part of Provence.

Small but outstanding formations. Our guide Derek was outstanding. You could tell he loved the underground world. He pointed out interesting features that would have gone unoticed.

I decided to visit with my wife and son, as something to do while we were on holiday in the region. Like most of France, it's closed between 12-2pm each day, so we decided to have lunch at the restaurant while we waited for it to open. We were lucky to get a table, as it was very busy, so reserving a table is a good idea. The food was very nice, the service was good, and it was good value for money. Behind the entrance to the caves is a short discovery walk with a number of observation points. The free map/guide (dual language) explains each point on the map, available at the start of the walk. The caves were a pleasant surprise. I've seen a few over the years, and they really are beautiful, with 4 or 5 openings/rooms. Overall the tour took about an hour, and the guide was very helpful and explained in French and English. The steps can be a little steep in places (there are hand rails throughout), and there's one place where you could bump your head, but with a little care most visitors should be fine. I think adults were 10 each, which seems reasonable.

Just 12 km from the beautifulIt city Grasse. Itis not to big and not to small. Beautiful place for a family visit. Next to it there is a very nice extreme park for kids.

The restaurant in the same building as the cave entrance has probably the best burgers of France. The waitress there is truly wonderful as well. (5 stars) The cave is a bit small, to be honest, the walk inside was relatively short, but the cave is quite pretty. The guide translated only about two-thirds in English. (3 stars)
