Hidden and open for visit any time. When I went there was nobody else. A lot of history touched by the time. Loved it.

Abbaye Notre-Dame du Nid-au-Merle is a very interesting place on the territory located in the territory of a small town in Saint-Sulpice-la-Foret. Its undoubtedly worth a visit, especially if you are already in these places. Once there were dense forests, and now heavily sparse planting, interspersed with fields and numerous livestock grazing. The first mention of church buildings is historians and archaeologists refer to the beginning of the 12th century. Subsequently, a convent arose here, and a very rich and influential one. The French Revolution of the 18th century changed the order in France, which radically changed the position of the church. This led to a gradual loss of fruits from the authorities, the loss of land, income and the destruction of buildings. Now here are the ruins, which can be found almost around the clock. There is parking and excellent information on the stand in the inside of the remains of the main temple. True, the above information is published here only in French.
