Do you like places with special touch of the owner and absolutely delicious and freshly cooked local food? In this case Les Poissions Rouges is an absolute MUST! Unexpected 60s rock and roll, The Blues Brothers, U.S. Route 66, Harley club, your body unexpectedly starts bouncing picking up the rhythm of the music the minute you enter the placeEvery detail filled with attention and style of the owner who’s passioned by the American culture. That’s the first impression you get when you enter the place. But wait for it, the food will surprise you even more! Absolutely mind-blowing delicious

Very good food and service. On the harbour side with view on the bridge. Terrasses in the front and back of the restaurant. Worth to have lunch there even if the price is a bit expensive.

Les poissons rouges has the most beautifully presented, fresh and delicious food! The ambiance was perfectly curated by the owner who was very friendly and makes dishes inspired by his travels! e.g: his amazing clam chowder!

Mixed dinner. The staff were friendly and entrees of langoustine & food gras pierogis and a clam chowder were both good. However, with the mains we were hugely disappointed. We both went with steak and found it to lack any taste despite being an 'entrecote'. My wife was also presented with a steak that was blue when it should have been medium rare. Asking for it to go on the fire for a bit longer saw it arrive as a chewy mess. The accompanying 'house fries' were fried potato slices that were soggy and bland. The whole dish was just unpleasant so we left most of it. Now, we are fully aware that the restaurant specialises in fish but I have been to many seafood restaurants where frying a steak hasn't been a big ask for a chef...seafood and steak often go hand in hand after all. When we mentioned this to the owner upon being asked how things were we were met with this argument and 'bof', should have known better. If you can't get a dish right, don't put it on the menu... Disappointing meal and service in the end.

In a row of art galleries, the chef and his team are artists of food. Their painterly presentations of the freshest possible ingredients are among the most beautiful, and tastiest, I have encountered in France. I trusted the chef (and I'm glad I did) and had his propositions du jour for Sunday lunch. Crowded around me were many happy French eaters, enjoying an excellent selection of wine and an astonishing array of beautifully presented dishes. When the waiters would go by, everyone Ooohed and Aaahed. An intimate place, with happy, attentive servers, superb food, and reasonable prices ... cheap for the beautiful dishes presented. Inspiring.
