Did the sundown tour for about 2 1/2 hours, was really really nice and informative. Our guide gave us a lot of information about nature, plants and animals of the Camargue region.

Amazing place with really nice people. The horses look beautiful and seem happy. We took the 2 hours walk along the beach, couldn’t be happier ! Thanks to the team :)

I definitely recommend it. I went there twice this year, with friends first then family. We were a bit late for our booking the second time and could feel the frustration of the owner, who after has been very kind, so thank you to him. Lovely people, passionate and really caring for their lovely (all) and characterful (specifically one) horses. If you plan to go during July/August time you must make a booking. Also if you come from Marseille and its skirting allow yourself 3h drive to get there (during the same period).

I couldn't put -1 star...we paid for 90mins horse back riding and we only went for 60-70 mins...but this, at the end was just better for us, in fact, the 2 young ladies bringing us to the tour, were all the time with their smatphones texting or calling, they never stop one single time for give us some explanation about the places, about the horses or the lands..not even explained how to ride the horses, at some point they wanted the horses to trotting, which is good if you know how to do it, otherwise is just dangerous. I don't even talk about the road we did, with cars, motorcycles and quads passing beside us for half of the tour. I will never suggest this place to anybody. Better spend those 50 euros in a restaurant.

Tamaris is not recommended for children or adults who are beginners. The person who took me and my daughter (almost 8trs old, who has had riding lessons) out was someone who is clearly not qualified to deal with either humans or horses. She gave no support to either my daughter or me and could barely control her own horse( who looked quite poorly treated given the poor condition of its skin and the bones sticking through) . It was a very unrelated and unhappy experience. We abandoned the walk after 20 minutes as my daughter was too nervous and scared by now - we didn't get our money back either. Definitely NOT recommended

Horse riding for tourists, not for experienced riders. Personally I don't understand why anyone would get on a horse without any experience. People getting on a horse in flip-flops, in shorts with a big camera just lack respect for the horse and the art of horse riding. A horse is not a bicycle, respect it, don' t pull its mouth, sit on it like a bag of beans, get of it without thanking it or giving it a a little cuddle. I was the only rider in the group except for the guide. My horse was actually a good horse and the guide sent me away alone for some galloping as the 'riders' in my group didn't even trot. I guess experienced riders should avoid this stable but if you ask for a private ride you probably will get a good experience. It is not the stables fault that they are catering to lazy tourists, I understand they need to make a living. All stables in the area do the same thing. Paquito was a nice horse and after he understood that I wasn't the usual sack of potatoes he actually perked up a lot. I really felt like galloping into the sunset with him leaving behind the painfully slow group. Tourist that don' ride, please take some lessons before getting on a horse, a horse is a live animal not a bike you hire. A loved the sense of humour of some of the horses, the moment they saw some fine sand, two of them kneeled down, softly though, for a nice little roll in the sand. They knew exactly who they had on their backs and made the most of it. Honestly though....it is a bit dangerous for unexperienced riders...but then again who cares right? Not the tourists. They just want to put of their facebook they sat on a a horse and saw a flamingo..
