Loved this place! Really interesting dynamic with the art installations and games too. The wine was delicious, we’ll worth the 10 which we even got back after purchasing some wine. Would recommend!

The best wine in Saumur and the best guided tour, in our opinion. Have taken guests there and all were impressed. Recommend to all for good value

The most interesting, informative, and enjoyable wine caves in Saumur. The staff creates art installations that were really amazing and the wine is just as good! There were stations to show the soil/earth breakdown across the region and blind sniffing stations to see if you can identify the right scents. We tasted a full range but walked out with some local Cab Sauv (that's right), Chenin Blanc, sparkling Rose and a nice Sparkling Red as well. The staff was very friendly and took care of everybody - it was really busy!

Caves Ackerman was a great find. We arrived and did the self guided tour which was the best tour I have done, it is informative and also has some interactive games along the way and also some actual games at the end of the tour. I recommend stopping by this cellar door!

Great tour with tablet guide provided. Takes about 1hr very in treating family story and great art on display. Take a jumper it's 12 degrees in the caves. Taste 5 wines of your choice at the end of the tour all for 5 euro.
