Nice place and gargoyles are amazing
We booked a hotel in the area on our way back from italy as a one night stop over. As we walked towards the town ( not expecting much ) we were surprised to find that it's a lot bigger than we expected. Lovely place with bars restaurants and some wonderful architecture.

In middle ages Troyes was one of the top trading towns north of Alps. The Troyes ounce, that is still used to measure weight of precious metals (31 something grams) was defined here & then. Troyes still keeps several ancient monuments. One of then is this wonderful gothic temple. When I visited it, a young couple was taking romantic pictures. Nice place, nice moment.
