My beginner class instructor Jeff is so amazing. He was so patient especially with new beginners. I expected it to be way worse but I picked up quite fast with his instructions and the tips. Mostly because he always spend more time with the ones that are a bit struggling and he never left them behind. I was able to bump up to the next level with Rory after 3 lessons with Jeff’s help. Rory is also an awesome instructor too. It’s a group lesson but he pointed out each of our problems and methods for improvement for each of us separately. I was able to do parallel turns after having 3 lessons with him.

Had a fabulous week in a group class in Val D’Isere. I tried to hide in level 3 the first day but Jean Pierre rightly bumped me up to the level 4 group where I spent the rest of the week with Jean Jack. JJ was a great teacher and led us through varied terrain and ski styles throughout the week. Really enjoyed myself and learned a bit as well. Highly recommend both of the coaches and was pleased with the Oxygene setup.

Professional, patient and friendly; I strongly recommend this ski school. As practically a complete beginner I was very nervous. My instructor Matia was able to ease my anxiety re: skiing. The teaching was excellent and at a good pace, being pushed appropriately every day to get a sense of accomplishment and development at the end of every lesson. At the end of 5 days, I felt well established and confident to tackle greens and blues alone. The staff at Oxygene were all very friendly in my dealings with them. Thank you very much. I'm looking forward to skiing again in future.

Had an amazing week snowboarding with Alice, she was great with the group and really helped us all improve. By the end of the week we were doing reds and jumps in the snowpark!

First time in five years using the in house service that I've been thoroughly disappointed in the equipment and value for money. Having chosen both diamond and gold packages from Oxygen to suit our group, none matched up to the price point set or equipment promised. Those who chose the diamond package got skis that were a few years old, and boots to match. The gold package was a mix of very old and battered skis, and the boots provided were so old it was embarrassing. Raising the point at the time of fitting fell on deaf ears, with shrugging shoulders and a 'not a lot I can do' attitude. Unfortunately, it seems Oxygen are grossly overcharging for equipment promised to be something it's not.

We have used Oxygène previously with no problem. HOWEVER BEWARE!!! We booked my son for lessons this year and all was good, UNTIL exactly 1 week before we travel I received an email saying our week of morning lessons had been cancelled due to lack of demand (the first week of March) not exactly out of season. They offered us 2 mornings of private lessons in exchange which was wholly inadequate as this would mean that we would have to cancel adult lessons to look after my son. I asked them to increase their offering to an extra 2 hours which was refused. Their cancellation policy is clear in the T&Cs which they didn’t hesitate to remind me of but 1 weeks notice!!!!! We will NOT be using Oxygène again as there is so much choice for excellent ski schools which can be found in trip advisor or google.

Double Trouble

Highly recommend Oxygène for ski/snowboard lessons and equipment hire. We love the team at Val d’Isere and had a fantastic time again this year. The office staff, the equipment techs and the ski instructors are always so friendly, helpful and amazing with kids. The service from start to finish is brilliant and it really makes a difference to the holiday. Thank you so much to EVERYONE at Oxygène that looked after us before and during our visit!!! Incredible holiday!! :)
