Lovely hotel in a perfect location with genuine ski in / ski out facilities. Hotel restaurants, both of them, serve great food and all have friendly and helpful staff

Our second year here, providing a great family experience. There is easy piste access, the atmosphere is informal modern and friendly, the food of good quality, the rooms are clean and well maintained and the pool is warm and easily accessed. There is a great ski shop and boot room. The spa is reported good, hotel staff respond rapidly to issues like tv faults and the shuttle vehicle quickly fetches guests on request. Early dining times for children would be useful.

Great hotel and staff - but managed by accountants. Good points: - Perfect ski-in/out - Mountain view from balcony was excellent - Ski lockers warm and very effective - best ever - Great staff - very friendly and helpful at the reception, the bar & the restaurant - Warm welcome and bags taken to room (and skis taken to locker) - Evening meals were delicious - great chef - Spa area very impressive with a large pool - Great WiFi - Large TV with HMDI socket available - Nice balcony (but only one outside lounging chair?) - Blackout curtains really worked - even in direct sunlight - good for afternoon nap Not so good - Restaurant was the breakfast room (formica tables in a 4 star hotel restaurant?) - Breakfast was poor (buffet style, boil your own eggs, watered down coffee, 4 slot toaster shared by 50 people) - Spa area and changing rooms horribly smelly - shower drains needed cleaning - didn't see anyone fancying a 'relaxing massage' in that stink. Bath drain in our room similarly clogged with a season (or two?) of hair and toe nail clippings etc (see photo) - 9 for a ginger beer, 6 for Evian water (we drank tap water most evenings - 6 for what looked like a complementary chew bar on top of mini-bar - Only BBC1/2 and ITV ( non-UK channels) - Small room - Strange lobby/atrium design reminded us of a Victorian prison - Weird Escher-esque stairs going up one way, then down the next - so bad that they had to put down knobbles to warn people of stairs in strange places

Off the charts helpful and welcoming staff team. So convenient with ski hire in the hotel and ski-in ski-out. I'll definitely return.

All that a skier needs. Good breakfast and dinner. Stepping out right onto the slopes

Lovely cosy hotel. Perfect retreat after a day on the slopes. Food was excellent in both restaurants. Reception staff were super patient and accommodating. Restaurant staff seemed a little stretched as coffee/drink service was a bit hit & miss. Spa & pool overlooking the piste was gorgeous. Underfloor heating was added bonus. Would love to stay again but hotel does not feature in 2020 UK ski operators listings

Expensive but well located and cosy. Restaurant is basic and boring and staff not always on top of things.
