The custom tour that Quintin took us on was perfect. We were a group of five adults and one toddler and everything went beautifully. The distance and difficulty was perfectly suited to our group and the wine was delicious. Thank you Quintin!

We had a wonderful day exploring Chinon with Quitin, we got to experience 3 different vineyards all with their own unique charms. Quintin has a warm, relaxed style and kept us entertained throughout the day. The gorgeous lunch by the river was a particular highlight. We would definitely recommend this tour for any wine lovers or people wanting to learn something about this special part of the Loire valley.

This was a unique and unforgettable experience. Quintin can arrange beautiful bike rides for any rider, and adjust the ride in the moment so everyone feels comfortable. Our party varied with 3 active adults in our 30s 2 older adults in their 60s 1 toddler. I felt safe with my toddler in a toddler seat. I provided him with a helmet from home, but they may have one at the bike shop. Quintin had excellent communication leading up to the day. He his organized, easy-going and friendly. He organized 3 unique winery visits, and provided an incredible lunch for us. He was able to adjust our ride to meet the needs of everyone. It was so easy to organize this trip thanks to Quintin. We were in safe hands. Chinon is beautiful city and countryside. I highly recommend Quintin to everyone of all skill sets.

We really enjoyed the day. Quintin very kindly offered to pick us up from our accommodation and took us home so that we did not need to rely on taxis. The bicycles were very good with back up electric power if you need a bit of help and the local drivers are kind and tolerant of cyclists. The itinerary also avoided busy roads. No need to be nervous of cycling here even if your cycling skills are limited or a bit rusty. We enjoyed 3 different locations for tasting local wines. We were made welcome in each and were treated to a very wide range of different wines that taste very different from those in the supermarket. Generous tasting portions were poured! We enjoyed an excellent picnic by the Vienne river provided by a baker with a shop close to the bike hire shop. This includes a beautiful, light apple tart finished with a jam that used some local Chinon red wine. Quintin was an excellent host/guide

This experience felt more like a day with a trusted friend rather than signing up for a tour. We achieved all that was described in our day on bikes through an area of France that was new to us. Learning about the Chinon vineyards in this way is not to be missed. Quintin’s passion for the area’s wines and for biking made for lots of fun in our learning and our stops along the way. Oh, and his being English was a bonus for us since he is fluent in French as well!

Lovely way to spend the day! Quintin’s passion and extensive knowledge on biking, wine and the Chinon region made him the best tour host -hands down! Although my girlfriend and I arrived a bit late and she was a bit rusty at riding, Quintin quickly modified the itinerary to ensure that we had the best, possible experience on the tour. I would definitely recommend this excursion to friends/family that are looking for a great mix of outdoor fun and wine tasting!

Great tour! Wonderful vineyards, beautiful scenery, delicious picnic, and easy conversation. Jean-Max at Domaine de Noire provided a personalized historical and educational tour. The caves at Pierre Sourdais are not to be missed. And best of all, were the wines! Quintin is passionate and has great interest in vineyards and region. Highly recommend!
