Musée alsacien à Strasbourg. 1h is enough to see all the museum. It shows the transitions of Alsace such as heating system, clothes, marriage, kitchens and etc. I really enjoyed the museum and the building is well organized to show the history. There is a discount for students and it was like 3.50. For adults, it costs like 5 euros.

Very interesting spot to see the history of Alsace. Although it is more a time capsule on how everyone used to live and their traditions. Not necessarily the history of the area. Tour can get a little misdirected at times as tour takes you through an old house. Only the audio tour is English friendly. Most signs and displays are in German and French. Only took us about an hour to go through it. If debating between Strasbourg or Alsacian museum, would definitely spend more time in Strasbourg museum.
Lots of history and fachwerkhauser architecture. Visit christmas market at night and here during daytime. You'll come home appreciating your modern day appliance.
An amazing museum that highlights and showcases the home life and origins of Christmas in the Alsace region. Wandering through the rooms, one can see what traditional Alsace houses, garments, toys, religion, cooking, and social lives look like. Like the other museums in Strasbourg, there are lockers available to store coats and bags
It is a free a museum which is great. Most of the explanations are a French though which is a downer.
Museum across 3 old City houses. Nice exhibition showing art, culture, food, customs, clothing from the Elsace area in a unique setting.
Fantastic museum about the area and culture. Beautiful restored rooms with furniture and exhibits. Nice guidance through the big building and information everywhere to read. Would recommend it to everyone who is not from this area to visit and to learn more about the history. Also the building itself with its central open area is nice to look at.
Amazing place! It's a museum in an actual house. Great to see how people used to live in Alsace!
