It was my first algerian couisine, and it was so good! Good food with resonable price. Thumbs up!

I LOVE Argana. My experience with Moroccan food was pretty limited until this most recent trip to Paris, and in just one week I visited Argana twice. It is the epitome of comfort food. Simple, warm cuisine that fills you up without being heavy. Magdi, the owner, and his wife, Fatima, the chef, are incredibly lovely people. I was there on pretty quiet nights and so Magdi spent a lot of time talking to me. He was very patient with my rusty French and he told me all about Moroccan cuisine, life in Paris, his home (Egypt) and what it's like in Morocco. The restaurant itself is small and cozy. Nothing fancy, but very clean and comfortable. Feels like the kind of family-run restaurant you always want to find no matter where you're traveling. Regardless of where I stay in Paris, I will be coming back there to eat! The first visit, I had couscous with merguez, a slightly spicy sausage. The merguez had a wonderful flavor and went so well with the vegetables (carrots, turnips and zucchini), the fluffy couscous, and the broth/sauce that the vegetables were cooked in. I think this was my favorite dish. The second time I visited I had a tajine with kefta meatballs. These meatballs were incredible. Soft and moist but full of flavor. On second thought, I'm not sure which I liked better! Also, be sure to have some mint tea, it was fantastic! I found the prices quite reasonable, especially for the generous portions.

Had some issue with a French air line felt unhappy to day. As we finally settled in the hostel, We started searching for dinner. We tabbed open Tripadvisor and found this very excellent rated restaurant near to where we lodged in. As we came in, the owner warmly welcomed us in and try to tell us what the foods are(We can't speak French). They never hurried us. The dinning experience is really great, and the food are worth the money. A day lit up.

The Couscous Royale is really good and the beef, chicken and beef meatballs and merguez sausage in it are delicious and delicately spiced. Prices are reasonable for the quality. The Moroccan chef and her Egyptian husband are friendly hosts. It's soul food, so if you want a gastronomic experience and nice decor, go somewhere else.

Great restaurant in the more humble part of paris. That chef cooks some good chicken couscous. But i recommend you try the traditional tea. Best tea ever!

Loved the papille (?) - chicken pastry ... and really enjoyed both lamb and chicken tangines. Super friendly owners, very easy to get a table, and in an interesting/diverse area. Icing on the cake: More affordable than other Moroccan places we found
