The beauty that most be visited if you are in Avignon.
The church employee is very rude. He asked women with shorts (it was 35 degrees out) to leave, he asked people to remove hats impolitely and shooshed people who were speaking normally (not loudly) all in the span of the 5 minutes of my visit. He should be replaced, he is clearly way past retirement age...
A magical place to be. It is hard to imagine how they built such an incredible monument back then. It is no wonder a UNESCO site.
It’s a beautiful cathedral. Looking down, you can see the square and the surrounding area.
