I can highly recommend Fanny Foures! She is a dedicated teacher and will take care to find an individual approach for each student to address their particular language needs while incorporating their personal interests. I took some private lessons in the summer of 2020 while on holiday in Avignon, and enjoyed them so much that I will continue via Skype.

If you are a foreigner who wants to learn or improve your french, Fanny is the perfect teacher for you. While I was living and working in France for 6 months she was the nicest and friendliest local I’ve met. The lessons were in english and french, and adapted for my objectives. If you cannot meet her for personal tutoring sessions then you can opt for her online Skype sessions. My french language skills really improved and I highly recommend Fanny.

My partner and I would thoroughly recommend Fanny as a teacher. We spent a week with her on a private course in August to prepare us for our Belgian language test to apply for citizenship (which we both passed). Fanny understood our requirements and structured the week accordingly. By the end of the week our spoken French and comprehension had improved considerably - assisted by the clarity with which Fanny speaks, which means that you don't have to drop into your native language that often. We found her to be a very pleasant person, a teacher that encourages rather than criticises and very knowledgeable about Avignon.

I'm so lucky that I found Fanny Foures! I spent 5 days in Avignon in September, studying with her. Fanny is a wonderful teacher, and I totally enjoyed the time we spent together. I am an advanced French speaker, and I love French, but there is always more to learn. We reviewed some sticky grammar rules, including le subjunctif, and I felt I understood it for the first time. I was traveling alone, and Fanny made me feel welcome and cared for in her beloved Avignon, as well. I hope to study with her again some day.

J'ai été l'élève de Fanny pendant quelques semaines pendant mes vacances d'été en Europe. Je prends des cours de français depuis quelques années déjà et je voulais émerger avec une expérience locale axée sur l'amélioration de certains des points clés que j'avais plus de difficulté. Je peux dire que, même si j'aie pris les cours pendant une courte période, je pouvais déjà voir l'évolution et la correction des choses que je faisais une erreur. Je me demande quel serait mon niveau de fluidité si j'avais une période plus longue à étudier avec Fanny. Je la recommande vivement à toute personne qui ne parle pas du tout le français ou qui a déjà un bon niveau de la langue et qui souhaite l'améliorer davantage.
