Beaumetz-les-Cambrai Military Cemetery No.1

Beaumetz-les-Cambrai Military Cemetery No.1 is a small Commonwealth War Graves cemetery situated just off the Baupaume Cambrai road a kilometre or two before the Cambrai Memorial. What sets it apart from many other Commonwealth cemeteries is that most of the men buried here are in collective graves. Presumably, this was because most of them are unidentified and were buried by the German army after they captured the village during the 1918 Spring offensive. I've seen a fair few Commonwealth cemeteries containing two or three commemorations on a single gravestone, but this is the first one where I've seen forty-three or thirty-eight.
