I engaged her to draw up plans for a villa and to obtain planing permission. She showed no ability or willingness to listen to my instructions and therefore had to reproduce the plans several times. Then she blamed me for having spent more time on the project than anticipated; asked for payment in advance of doing the work and in fact started issuing me with instructions to do her work for her. Failed to provide me with copies of emails sent/received on my behalf. Showed no interest in making any effort to complete the job to any standard but was very interested in banking cheques. Couldn't even be bothered to take up to date photos for the planning application, instead just used out of date photos emailed to her by the estate agent. When I told her this was unacceptable she walked (stormed) off the job and left me to find someone willing to pickup the pieces. Subsequently, refused to provide me copies of important emails relating to my project.
