A lovely language school in great proximity to the beach. The teachers are super friendly and the classes are small which provides a good learning environment. The lessons involve a lot of talking and oral exercises, the writing aspects are more covered in form of homwork. If you participate in the lessons you'll notice quick improvement in your french skills. Overall the atmosphere was very familial and welcoming, it was a great experience!

The best place to learn French. Anglet is a very relaxed city with good waves for beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers. The school owner is a surfer as well, so you'll get great insider tips. The teaching style is relaxed but very professional. The teachers can put a lot of attention to individual needs without neglecting the group as a whole. I spent two summers here learning French and made a lot of progress. Highly recommended.
Despite all the issues associated with the current pandemic, Sofi 64 is very much open for business and operates respecting all the current recommendations. If you want to study French and learn how to surf, this school is definitely for you: it's just five minutes from the long sandy beaches and the huge waves of Anglet. If you are not interested in surfing or, like me, are too old for surfing, then the French and yoga courses are perfect to keep active whilst learning French. The school is ideally located, close to shops, public transport and amazing beaches. The classrooms are really nicely decorated and the atmosphere at the school is relaxed and friendly thanks to Stephanie and Thomas. My teacher (Pauline) was very professional and experienced. The small group and the right balance between grammar and conversation made the classes enjoyable but also useful. I really recommend this school. After checking so many different options, I am glad my instinct told me to book here!
This school is awesome! The professors are great - they bring a great energy to the classroom and make learning really fun. When the waves are good, after class we head straight to the beach just five minutes down the road and surf all afternoon.
Perfect place to learn French in a friendly environment. The atmosphere is relaxed and very fun. I improved my talking and listening skills a lot. The teachers are excellent and give a lot of insight on the background of the language, which speeds up the learning process.
Amazing place to learn French - highly dedicated teachers and a focus on solely speaking French really help to improve the usage of the language fast. The atmosphere is also special since the school is small and people take a lot of care to create a unique experience.
I attended SOFI 64 in August 2020. I am 28 years old and work in the fields of law. Hence it is very important for me to speak and understand French. First I was concerned that I would'nt progress as I did not have good experiences with regard to language schools. However the school of Stéphanie did convince me. The students were encouraged not to speak other languages than French at the school, the classes are small and the students attend the classes according to their individual language level. This enables the best learning environment. In general Stéphanie and Thomas - who run the school - are professionally organized and support the students with regard to all aspects (accommandation, leisure time and so on). Besides learning fun is also guaranteed at SOFI 64. I attended a surf course and a private surf lesson (special price for students of SOFI 64) and spent great and eventful evenings with the students of SOFI 64. More advantages are: Yoga courses, 10 min walking distance to the beach, bicycle rent, further the COVID 19 measures were strictly adhered to. Excellent school; unfortunately cut short for me due to the COVID quarantine. Stephanie is motivated and fun, and an exceptional teacher. She was able to adjust the lessons to what I needed most, and I progressed far more in a few weeks with her, than with a year of books and online courses. Highly recommend studying here, and an excellent value!
