Took a private lesson which turned out to be the biggest waste of money. Had almost zero direction or teaching and the instructor seemed disinterested most of the time. If you've surfed before, use the money to rent the board and go surf on your own, you'll get more out of it. Also the staff at the shack seemed unprofessional/rude and there is no privacy to get changed inside.

Highly recommended surf school - in 5 days they taught me how to read and catch my own waves with confidence in various conditions. Key highlights were: - passionate and friendly coaches who enjoy helping people progress and teach you what to do - supportive team back at base who want to make sure you have what you need and that you are having fun - positive attitude runs through everything! Go have fun, relax, and learn!

Highly recommend. Teachers were great, big groups some days but loads of teachers with us too. Space to get changed, and also hot showers further down for everyone to use.
