Did a group lesson with these guys as a beginner. I was the only English-speaking student so lessons were in French, but after each instruction they translated it to English just so I could follow along as well. They spoke English very well and gave some personal advice after the first few tries. Managed to stand up and surf to the coast a few times at the end of the lesson. Good stuff!

Very good school. I subscribed my children for 3 days course. They were very happy and really enjoyed the initiation to the Surf with the coach Pierre. Big thanks to the boss and all the staff. I really recommend the \La Vague Basque\.
Very happy of my choice, this school is just perfect for beginners. I took a group lesson, my first one ever, and it was so nice to feel the ocean and to surf (a bit lol), that I took an individual lesson the next day. My mentor was Frank, he’s sensitive and takes really good care of his apprentices. Highly recommend!
8 people in one course are too many for one really want to learn to surf. Not so much pedagogy, just some Theory during the first course before going to the sea. And the monitor didn’t even demonstrate how to surf in the sea when the tide was strong. He just let you figure out yourself. And he only looked after certain students, but not all, even you were ready to go with him. Very frustrating ! Don’t forgot to ALWAYS stay beside the monitor and talk to him so that he can help you more than others if you really want to book this course. NOT recommended!!!
Small group of 3 , David has been very pedagogue, in less than 2h we improved a lot ! Fast and Great organisation.
Expérience au top. Nous avons pris deux cours avec Franck, très sympathique et excellent prof. Attentif à chaque personne pour corriger les positions et donner des conseils (même lorsque nous étions un groupe de 10 personnes). Toutes les personnes du staff sont accueillantes. Foncez et kiffez !
Super experience à Biarritz avec La Vague Basque Surf School ! Accueil hyper professionnel de Jérémie, accueillant et bienveillant - sacs, tongs, bijoux, objets de valeur, tout est très bien pensé ! La Cote Basque est idéale pour des débutantes comme nous. Yvan notre moniteur a été très gentil, prévenant et hyper secure pour cette session qui est passée si vite ! Petit plus: un photographe professionnel propose des photos de votre session à la fin, aucune obligation mais superbes souvenirs ! Merci à tous !
Excellente école de surf ! Le staff est très sympathique en plus d'être arrangeant. J'ai effectué un stage de 5 jours avec Frank et Tom, toujours très patients et pédagogues. Je recommande.
