Do not use this shop! Velos were in short supply on 3rd August so i hired an electric bike at extra cost. I wanted it for 24 hours. But he would only let it for the day. I thought the gentleman said return by 2030. But perhaps I misheard, but it closed at 1830. So returning the bike the next day, I expected to be surcharged. I was told the bike could not be hired again that day. (Odd that they have no spare batteries on charge so they can hire out their bikes immediately - a fresh battery was inserted when I first picked it up.). The lady taking back the bike was unbelievably off-hand and rude. She was not the least regretful at having to charge the extra. Nor did she seem interested that they had hired out a bike with a faulty front wheel bearing which deteriorated throughout the day. (Clunk clunk clunk!). So I can not recommend this most unpleasant customer experience.

I went there to rent a special bike we asked for earlier and Mathilde told us that the bike was not available! We had to wait and get back two day later on the early morning to have it if it is available at that time.

Avoid this place. I got ripped off. First of all, the woman serving was unpleasant and rude. Then when I asked for two ormal\ bikes she charged me for a higher category. I didn't realise immediately, until my girlfriend spotted it. When I questioned the woman \serving\ us, she just said she had none of the bikes of the category we asked for. She didn't bother to inform us though. Would not refund the difference either. The hotel I was staying at told me I'm not the first to have had such a problem. They recommend yootoo bikes. Whatever you do, don't get a bike from vélos de Mathilde. They are simply dishonest and the woman serving is beyond unpleasant.

MALHONNÊTE !! Vélo en très mauvais état, rouillé, roue dégouflée et j’en passe ... Et pour couronner le tout, j’ai payé le prix d’une journée complète pour une location de 4h ... Bref passez votre chemin, il y a plein de loueurs honnête à Saint Martin !

Accueil très désagréable! Pas de bonjour. Les vélos étaient mal entretenus. La selle bougeait et était impossible à fixer. La dame nous a vu essayer de l'accommoder mais a quant même fermé le magasin et est partie sans proposer de la resserrer. A éviter!!

Vélos pas bien entretenus. Soucis pendant ma balade. J’ai attendu pendant plus d’une heure pour être dépannée. Plusieurs appels, on m’a répondu une 1e fois puis plus rien et ensuite 2 interlocuteurs au même numéro et on ne me répondait pas la même chose... finalement c’est une retaise qui s’occupait de ses vignes qui m’a gentiment raccompagnée avec sa camionnette .... hallucinant. Nous avons été remboursées et heureusement mais du temps de perdu sur un week end sur l’île.....
